The Volunteer Ireland National Volunteer Management Conference, supported by BHP Insurance, is now in its fourth year. The premier conference for volunteer management in Ireland, the National Volunteer Management Conference 2014 will take place in Dublin Castle Conference Centre on Tuesday 4th November 2014.  The Conference is a unique event which gives leaders in the field of volunteer management an opportunity to network with their peers, engage in thought-provoking workshops and hear internationally renowned speakers. Our keynote speaker this year is Rob Jackson, Volunteer management expert from the UK. Volunteer Management - The Essentials Online Course
Hosted by www.volunteerscotland.net
Over the course of five weeks (10.00am - 12.00pm UK time), with one session a week, you will look at preparing for involving volunteers, attracting the right volunteers and getting them started. We will also discuss supporting volunteers, managing challenging situations, reward and recognition and evaluating your volunteer programme. You also have the option to gain a certificate of endorsement from the Institute of Leadership and Management for your participation in this course.
