Serves Texas - TADVS: Texas Association , Directors of Volunteer
Services (Healthcare)
TADVS prepares members to meet the challenges in today's health
care industry by focusing on strong educational programs, an extensive
communication network of peers, and accessibility to volunteer management
resources. TADVS holds an annual educational conference, and meets
periodically on a regional basis, and often in conjunction with state
auxiliary/volunteer sessions.

Meets from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, the 2nd Thursday of every month,
excluding August. Locations vary. Meetings alternate between "round table" discussions and programs featuring speakers. All meetings provide opportunities for networking and education.

Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month (Jan-Nov) from 11:30 am -1 pm at various locations. Topics vary each month. A Professional Development Day is held each summer, a joint meeting with Dallas DOVIA is held in March, and an Annual Holiday Luncheon is held in November. Each meeting provides a great opportunity for networking and learning!

Meetings are the second Monday of each month, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Meetings alternate among the participating agencies and the RSVP office at 321 W. 7th, Amarillo, TX 79101. The monthly meetings feature speakers and networking among members. Every December DOVIA hosts the "UnSung Hero Banquet" honoring volunteers from DOVIA member agencies.

Of Volunteers In Austin)
Meetings are the third Wednesday of every month, 11:45 a.m. to
1:00 p.m. at the LBJ School of Public Affairs on the University of
Texas campus in Austin, Texas. There is a featured speaker at each
meeting, and plenty of opportunity for networking and professional
help. Our chapter also sponsors various events for service leaders,
and a Volunteer Management Academy.

Serves North Texas - Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers
The Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers was established
in 1994 by a group of volunteer leaders with a vision. The group
formed to enhance their professionalism and knowledge of the industry,
learn more creative ways to use volunteers and give all leaders of
volunteers an opportunity to share experiences, ideas and skills.
