The next generation of the former Journal of Volunteer Administration, IJVOA is now a refereed electronic publication of the Department of 4-H Youth Development at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Voluntary Action: The Journal of the Institute for Volunteering Research

Published three times a year as a "forum for informed discussion about volunteering, offering high-quality articles based upon careful research and written in a style accessible to practitioners, policy makers, and researchers alike."
