Brief Excerpt
What Do You Care About?
When Working for change the most important thing is what matters
to you. It is not about what your friends think, what your parents want you
to do, or what your teachers say is important. Choose something that you
care about. . .
Everyone has different passions. That is one of the things that makes people
unique and it is why we have to work on things that matter to us. Think about
it: What if we all decided to work on saving whales because it seemed cool? No
one would be left to care about tigers or elephants or eagles! And the people
who didn't really care too much in the first place would get bored and burned
out. Take time to figure out what really matters to you because whatever you
decide to do is going to take some energy. You're definitely going to need passion.
