The activities in this training module are intended to foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration among paid and unpaid staff, among leadership and members, and in situations where management, paid staff, and volunteers participate equally. The activities may be used individually or together to build a sense of camaraderie, solidarity, and shared leadership. The exercises may also be used with all volunteers or all paid staff to build teamwork. There may be occasions when a volunteer manager or association leader would like to strengthen the relationship among current and new volunteers/members and these exercises can also help with that.
