Serves the DuPage and
surrounding counties area
The DuPage Association of Volunteer Administration serves DuPage and
surrounding counties. It is dedicated to promoting excellence in volunteer
programs by encouraging and enhancing professional development of volunteer
administrators through education, networking and mutual support. Meetings take place the 4th Wednesday of every month (except November and
December), from 10 am to 12 pm.

Serves the Tri-County area (Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford County)
Network of Volunteer Administrators is a professional association for people of the Tri-County area who manage volunteer programs. NOVA provides seminars, assistance with CVA certification and employment listings. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every other month. Metropolitan Chicago
The Association of Volunteer Administrators of Metropolitan Chicago
(AVA-MC) is a membership organization for people who share a commitment
to the effective leadership of volunteer and community service efforts.
The Association strengthens leadership and provides advocacy for the
field of volunteer resource management and provides an accessible
forum for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Meetings are every fourth Tuesday of the Month.

Serves Davenport/Bettendorf, Iowa and Moline/Rock Island, Illinois
(Quad-Cities Metro Area) - Mississippi Valley DOVIA
Our chapter holds general membership meetings on the 1st Thursday
in February, April, June, August, October and December from 11:30am-1pm.
General meetings provide the opportunity to network with peers, take
part in programs featuring a guest speaker from the community, and
foster professionalism among leaders of volunteers and those interested
in promoting volunteerism. Location for the meetings is the Bettendorf
Iowa Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive in Bettendorf, Iowa.
During alternate months we hold executive board meetings and workshops
at various locations. Membership is only $20 per year and allows you
to take part in all group activities. Leadership opportunities exist
on the board or as a committee member. We want to encourage anyone
in our community who is interested in learning more about how a DOVIA
membership can benefit you to contact us for more information.

Serves Champaign County, Illinois -- Council for Volunteerism
Organized by Pat Chapel in 1983 and currently has 60 organizations
as members. The council is energetic, involved, totally cooperative
with one another. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month,
8:30 to 10:00, at Centerpoint. Call for directions.

Serves Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin - NISWAVA
NISWAVA meets the second Thursday of each month at the Holiday
Inn in South Beloit. Breakfast is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Program
is from 8:15-8:45 a.m. and a short business meeting takes place from
8:45-9:00 a.m. The group does not meet in July, August, December,
or April. April is reserved for a volunteer recognition luncheon put
on by the organization.
