What's a DOVIA or State Association?
Kansas DOVIAs
Serves Northeast Kansas -- DOVIA of Northeast Kansas
DOVIA of Northeast Kansas serves Volunteer Directors and Coordinators from Douglas, Jefferson, Leavenworth and Shawnee Counties. Meetings held the third Thursday of each month at 8:00 AM at the Capper Foundation Easter Seals. Meetings include educational programs relating to volunteer issues. Each October, DOVIA hosts an annual full day conference on current issues relative to volunteerism.

Serves Greater Kansas City and Surrounding Communities
Volunteer Coordinators' Council
Members meet 8 times annually for networking and continuing education program (accepted by CCVA for Professional Development Units). All programs are held over the lunch hour at rotating sites around the Kansas City Metro area. VCC also produces a weekly electronic newsletter and maintains a resource library and discussion board for members at its website.
