Serves Greater Kansas City and Surrounding Communities
Volunteer Coordinators' Council

Members meet 8 times annually for networking and continuing education program (accepted by CCVA for Professional Development Units). All programs are held over the lunch hour at rotating sites around the Kansas City Metro area. VCC also produces a weekly electronic newsletter and maintains a resource library and discussion board for members at its website.

Metropolitan Volunteer Management Association
Meetings are networking and education opportunities, with guest speakers and members presenting on topics related to the field of volunteer management. Membership directory also includes resource/reference pages. Bi-annual one-day conference. Opportunities for mentoring and consultation. Collaboration with St. Louis Corporate Volunteer Council (for-profit programs) and partnership with United Way of Greater St. Louis in a process to certify volunteer programs for inclusion in United Way's "Caring Catalog."
