Members meet 6-8 times annually for networking and educational programming presented by local volunteer management experts. Programs rotate between mornings and noontime events. An annual one-day conference is offered featuring national or international experts. VCC also presents an annual award for best practices in volunteer management.

Metropolitan Volunteer Management Association
Meetings are networking and education opportunities,
with guest speakers and members presenting on topics related to the
field of volunteer management. Membership directory also includes
resource/reference pages. Bi-annual one-day conference. Opportunities
for mentoring and consultation. Collaboration with St. Louis Corporate
Volunteer Council (for-profit programs) and partnership with United
Way of Greater St. Louis in a process to certify volunteer programs
for inclusion in United Way's "Caring Catalog."
