This is a national volunteer center established to encourage, facilitate, and improve volunteerism throughout Lebanon. While primarily for those living in Lebanon, it also provides referral services to those from abroad who would like to serve as volunteers in Lebanon (languages of possible service: Arabic, English, and French). The primary activities of AVS are the annual Volunteer Opportunities Fair, the Volunteer Directory, outreach to youth groups and educational institutions, and NGO training programs in volunteer management and recruitment.
