We are happy to offer the Market Connection as an inexpensive way for you to reach out to a broad cross section of volunteer leaders. Regardless of whether you are a business selling a range of products or services or a nonprofit wanting to list a single item you offer, we guarantee you'll make contacts.

To be eligible for the area, a business or nonprofit organization must sell something that is specifically aimed at volunteer program managers or for the volunteers they coordinate. Contact us or phone at 1-800-395-9800 to inquire about your special needs.

Service, Not Advertising

Energize decided a long time ago never to post banner or pop-up ads on our site. On the other hand, we want to inform our visitors about useful businesses serving the volunteer field. "Market Connection " was our solution. Our idea is to help Energize site visitors compare various vendors by showing a similarly-designed page for each vendor that can be printed out and copied.

We give each vendor one Web page to describe what is being sold, show one photo or illustration, and give complete contact information (so that it is on the page that can be printed out). This includes a hotlink to the vendor's own Web site, so prospective customers can immediately learn more directly from the vendor. Since most volunteer resource managers can't issue a purchase order without approval, we want visitors to be able to quickly see or print out information that can be shared with decision-makers in their agencies.

What You Receive as a Vendor

A listing on the most popular volunteer management site on the Web and access to our visitors who want to know about volunteerism-specific products and services.
A full web page on our site to describe your products and services and how people can contact your company/organization. Our Webmaster will enter the text and image you provide using a standard template.
Links to your category of service on relevant pages throughout our site, such as in the library.
All sales transactions are directly between you and your customers.
Home page visibility - We highlight a different vendor each week on the Energize home page - which changes weekly with news items and other features. Rotating through our list gives all vendors a good number of such special attention opportunities. New vendors are highlighted the week their page is activated.

The Cost

The monthly fee for this web visibility option is US$30, with an initial payment of $90 for the first 3 months. We automatically deduct your payment each month from your credit card account. You can cancel at any time after the first 3 months. (If you prefer to pay by check, you can be invoiced annually - and receive a discounted rate of $300 for the entire year.)
Any sales generated through the Web presence are made directly between the vendor and the customer, with no percentage to Energize.
You may request a free text or graphic change once in a twelve month period. Additional changes can be made for an administrative fee of $75 each time.
