The Association of Volunteer Managers (AVM) is an independent body that aims to support, represent and champion people who manage volunteers in England regardless of field, discipline or sector.
A group of professionals who are passionate about volunteering in the Heritage sector have started to meet and discuss Heritage Volunteering and take action to move the sector forward strategically.
The only national professional association dedicated to the paid and unpaid staff members who work together in all categories of museums, large and small. AAMV provides information and services to individuals, groups, and museums that seek to start or improve their museum volunteer program.

Ottawa Administrators of Volunteer Resources (OAVR)
PAVR-O is the provincial association for Volunteer Engagement professionals in Ontario. We offer a number of member-only and public services including an annual conference, professional development webinars, discussion forum, mentor program and ongoing research.
We are a professional educational organization comprised of active professionals with primary or secondary responsibility of volunteer management in healthcare. Our national membership also includes paid management staff of healthcare retail shops and retired past members through the Emeritus level. Networking, professional certification and recognition for contributions to healthcare are only some of the benefits for becoming part of our organization.

Toronto Association for Volunteer Administration (TAVA)
Formerly called NOVN (National Organizations Volunteerism Network), Volunteer Development Council is a network of volunteer management professionals from leading national nonprofits responsible for supporting volunteer engagement throughout their organizations. It is also a vehicle for collaborative action among its members.
VMPC is the national professional association for volunteer resources managers in Canada. Links to the provincial professional associations affiliated with the national body can be found on this page of the site. VMPC changed its name in 2014 from Canadian Administrators of Volunteer Resources (CAVR).
