Since 1992, Kristin Floyd has provided Web strategic planning and development services to Energize and guided the strategic planning and development of Energize's strong online presence including the main Energize site, the Bookstore, and the Energize online training. Kristin is a trustee of the Susan J. Ellis Foundation which is focused on the thoughtful dissemination and exchange of research, history, practices and trends related to the volunteer engagement profession and provides website support to the professional journal, Engage. Volunteer management has been part of her life since the beginning of her career. One of her early jobs was as a volunteer coordinator for the Center for Literacy.
Kristin was part of the first wave of website developers in the early 1990s. She started her Website development firm, Communication First and her firm still provides website management services to nonprofits and small businesses.
